Welcome to my home page, you either know me in real life as Tommy Lowrie or online as musician Production Chimps. Anyway in the spirit of the early days of the internet, I hired artisan Diaz Greene to design this page to look like it would have in the late 90's.
Anyway there used to be a link to several songs I had made, as well as a pirate radio station I was streaming off of my PC with WinAmp. Apparently I was an early pioneer of streaming music - check this out for evidence :D
About Me
Not much to tell; I am 40 years old, live alone in a small house in Maine. I left the internet for the last 20+ years to enjoy life, be social, et cetera, and long story short, I did have fun, but I've returned because I have begun recording, mixing, and mastering music for affordable rates. Facebook Page for now until I launch the proper web-site.
I have retired from construction work and now live the peaceful, humble life of a produce associate, tending fruits and vegetables in a grocery store. And fuck anyone who looks down on that, it is much better for my mind and spirit overall even if the pay is not outstanding.
I started making music on early MIDI notation software in the 90's with my brotherman Nate Julien a.k.a. DME, we learned together and eventually we sort of slowed down musical undertakings as life tends to lead one where it will, until the last few years he has been back at it going hard in the paint - he is one of the most prolific beatmakers ever, check his Soundcloud and be amazed. I just got back into it myself about a year ago when I quit drinking, and finally have achieved a pretty epic sound. Links below.
Music, and Other Things I Am Working On.
Here is a small list of things you might find here on my new and improved domain. It may sound dumb, but I live on Cool St. literally, hence the name, coolstreet.org. Hit me up if you would like an e-mail forwarder or webmail address @ one of my domains.
Once upon a time, I used to host web sites. On a limited basis, I am still willing to do that, but only if your a friend or I think what your web site is all about is cool. Get at me.
- Production Chimps - that is my musical alias, and this is where you can find my music. I've gotten alot better in the 25 or so years I've been making teh beatz.
- LoveHobo - a domain I bought with the idea of turning it into a dating site for the working homeless - believe me, it sounded like a good idea at the time.Help Wanted
- Wu-Tang.Org - Ive cloned the voices of several Wu-Tang members and am currently having "them" read eastern philosophy; meaning I'm working on having a bunch of dope audiobooks of Wu members, reading stuff like the I Ching, Hagakure, and Tao.
- Creating Hip Hop - When I started making beats, there was no information on how to do it, now, there is tons. This site will be a streamlined; no bullshit approach to the essentials of beats, rhymes, mixing and mastering. Hoping to have some areas of tutorials in specific genres, also.
- BoomBap.Online - Not sure what I want to do with this yet, but ideas are Advertise @ Cool Street - The physical location of the office has extremely high visibility...
- Tech - this will be home to VST software I am working on.
- Pimp Daddy.com - I guess I thought the domain would get alot of traffic, I don't know what the hell I am going to do with it. Give me ideas.
Thank you all for visiting, now good bye, and kindly thank my sponser, Venndawgs's Old Tyme Donuts of Compton.
